Introduction

 The Straits Textile and Clothing Fair (abbreviated as STCF), is sponsored by Fujian Provincial Peoples Government, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, China National Federation of Textile Industry, China National Garment Association, China Fashion Designers Association, Taiwan Textile Federation, Taiwan Garment Knitting Industry Association, Taiwan Sweater Industry Association and Taiwan Knitting Industry Association. It is organized by Quanzhou Municipal Peoples Government and Shishi Municipal Peoples Government, with Fujian Province Clothing and Accessories Association, Quanzhou Textile & Garment Commerce Chamber, Shishi Textile & Garment Industry Association, Shanghai Hualian Sewing Equipment Union Corp., China Textile News, China Fashion News, Fashion Times and Textile Information Weekly as co-organizers. Associate members of the fair include Fujian Provincial Economic and Trade Commission, Fujian Provincial Department of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, Fujian Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Taiwan Affairs Office of Fujian Province. The 9th STCF will be held in the newly built Shishi Garment center from April 18th to 21st this year. The total exhibition area will exceed 200,000©O, making the fair the largest regional professional event in China. STCF evolved from the garments exhibition held in Shishi in 1992. It has been held by organizations including the Office of Opening-up Affairs of Fujian Provincial Government, Shishi Municipal Government and Taiwan International Trade Association since 1995. It was promoted from a regional exhibition to a national event in 1998. In 2003, Casual Wear Expo was held at the same time, adding ¡°casual¡± to the themes of STC F for the first time. The Fair and Expo attracted more than 500 brands from Taiwan, the mainland as well as foreign countries, bringing orders for products worth 2.54 billion RMB. The textile fabric exhibition hall, which was set up for the first time, achieved an amazing trade volume of 1.18 billion RMB. Altogether the Fair received more than 10 thousand guests from home and abroad and introduced a contracted utilization of foreign capital of 66.9 million USD, a new record in size and achievement.

1. Raw Space: rental area no less than 50 square meters

Second and third floor: Class A RMB 380 per square meter;

Class B RMB 280 per square meter.

2. Standard Booth

First floor: RMB 4800 for every 9 square meters,

Second, third floor: Class A RMB 3800 for every 9 square meters;

Class B RMB 2800 for every 9 square meters.

3. Peculiar Decoration Booth: 18 square meters per booth

Booth fee: Second floor: Class A RMB 7600 for every 18 square meters,

Class B RMB 5600 for every 18 square meters.

Fabrication Fee: RMB 10,000 for basic type;

RMB 20,000 for comfortable type
