The Buckle Inc announced that comparable store net sales, for stores open at least one year, for the four-week period ended May 31, 2008, increased 34.7 percent from comparable store net sales for the four-week period ended June 2, 2007.

Net sales for the four-week fiscal month ended May 31, 2008 increased 44.1 percent to $50.8 million from net sales of $35.3 million for the prior year four-week fiscal month ended June 2, 2007.

Comparable store net sales year-to-date for the 17-week period ended May 31, 2008 increased 27.7 percent from comparable store net sales for the 17-week period ended June 2, 2007. Net sales for the 17-week fiscal period ended May 31, 2008 increased 35.0 percent to $211.1 million from net sales of $156.4 million for the prior year 17-week fiscal period ended June 2, 2007.
