R.G. Barry Corporation and its Utopia brand men's slippers team have been named Target Corporation's Vendor of the Year in the men's essentials area.

Presenting the award during a luncheon recently in Minneapolis, Target officials cited R.G. Barry's attention to detail, consistent follow-up and commitment to shipping on time and complete among reasons for the honor.

"We are thrilled," said R.G. Barry Corporation Vice President 篓C National Accounts Greg Ackard, who accepted the award. "The relentless drive of our entire Utopia team to succeed has made our relationship with Target Corporation very successful.

It's great that our team's hard work is being recognized. We certainly appreciate this award and look forward to continuing our partnership with Target Corporation, one of the world's best retail organizations."

R.G. Barry developed its Utopia brand in 2004 exclusively for Target Corporation.

The Target award was the Company's third major vendor honor in less than 12 months. Kohl's Corporation named R.G. Barry and its Dearfoams brand "Best In Class 篓C Accessories" April 1 at its annual vendor summit in Menomonee Falls, Wis.; and in June, the Company was one of a select group of suppliers named to receive the "Partners in Progress" award from Sears Holdings Corporation.
